Art Literacy

Volunteers like YOU make it possible!

Join us for this opportunity to enrich your child’s classroom experience with art history lessons and hands-on art projects.

Art backgrounds are not needed, just an interest in spending a day helping students tap into their creativity!

2018-19 Training Dates:

Winter Lesson - Stone Age – Jan. 8th

WE NEED 6th GRADE PARENT VOLUNTEERS!

What Does Volunteering For Art Literacy Involve?

When you volunteer with Art Lit you will be joining a team of other parent volunteers in your child’s hall and grade.  Your “team" will coordinate 1 day in Fall, Winter, and Spring to present a lesson to your child’s class and the other 3 cores in your child’s hall/grade. You can present the lesson, or just show up to help pass out supplies.  It's easy and fun!

Volunteers must be cleared as a volunteer thru the Beaverton School District before they can work in the classroom.  Click on the "Volunteer" for more information.
