Hi 8th Grade Families!
Well it’s been another year full of challenges. Someday our Class of 2026 kiddos will have a “normal” year, right?
Your 8th grade committee has been working hard on year-end activities. This year it will include a send-off and an offsite celebration plus a class t-shirt. We aim to make this full of special memories for the kids as they leave middle school and get ready for high school.
The plan for our year-end celebration is a closed party at Kingpin’s during the last week of school on June 15th. A closed party means the outside public is not allowed into the facility during the party. We find this works best for both safety and health reasons. The party includes full food and games and school-sponsored transportation to and from the event.
We will also be doing a send-off where your kiddo will receive their t-shirt (a form will be coming where you can vote on a Stoller Middle School Graduation class of 2026 shirt or one for your future high school (Westview/Sunset/generic class of 2026)
Things have been in flux but we have full permission to go ahead but continue to need your support for all of this to occur. We are requesting $45 from each family to fund all of these wonderful activities. There are also options to donate more than the requested amount to support any Stoller families where contributing would be an unnecessary burden.
We want to be clear that if you are not able to pay this amount, you will definitely still be included in the celebration.
Please make your payment by May 22nd here using the 8th Grade Celebration button. We want to make sure so we know for sure that we have everything covered and have the funding to cover substitutes for any 8th grade teachers who want to attend. Please fill out your information using this link. This is not to track who pays or who doesn’t but ensures that your $45 goes to the 8th grade fund since the PTO has multiple sources of income. This also helps us track how close we are to our goal of fully funding these activities.
Corporate matching can only be used if you are paying for students beyond your own as it is not a donation when you personally receive any "value or services" equivalent to the donated amount. If you choose to sponsor extra students please contact the PTO treasurer, submit via a company portal to “Stoller Parent Teacher Organization Inc” and NOT “Stoller Middle School”, and include in the notes/comments that it is a donation to sponsoring students other than your own (you can't sponsor your own child via a donation).
Last but not least, if you would like to help out with any of the aforementioned activities in a volunteer capacity, please make sure to mark your interests on your MyImpact volunteer profile and volunteer form link and contact our 8th grade committee.
Any questions? Contact our 8th grade committee at Stoller8grade@gmail.com
We look forward to celebrating our 8th graders in the best way possible!
Thanks for your support,

Contributions can be made online using the links on this page, donate now page, or via check turned in at the office. Feel free to combine your contributions/donations but please submit a form for each contribution so that we can track it more easily and include a notation with payment for the reason (s).

Your help is needed to make this event successful. We already have 3 parents who have volunteered to organize the activities but they can't do it alone.
Volunteers must be cleared as a volunteer thru the Beaverton School District before they can work in the classroom. Click on the "register to volunteer" for more information.
The committee is also hoping we will be able to have an 8th grade dance. The one 2 years ago was very successful and enjoyed by the students.
Your student has the opportunity to pick a song(s) at this event for an additional contribution of $5/song. *Songs must be offensive free will to be accepted.
